Eastern Pine Camp is Princeton's chapter of Amtgard — a free, inclusive live-action combat game that's been bringing people together since 1983. We gather every Saturday near Princeton's campus for battlegames, character roleplay, and crafting.
No experience required. No equipment to buy. Just show up — loaner gear is always available, and our veteran players love teaching newcomers the ropes.
What We Do
Safe, padded weapons. Real tactics. Fight as a Warrior, Assassin, Barbarian, and more across 12 playable classes.
Cast foam "spell balls" as a Wizard, Druid, or Healer. Magic changes every battle.
Build your character's story. Earn in-game titles, join households, and shape the world of Amtgard.
Craft armor, sew garb, forge foam weapons, or write in-world songs and poetry. Creativity is celebrated.
Test your mettle in organized combat competitions at local, kingdom, and national events.
A welcoming, all-ages group. Free to play forever — Amtgard has never had a membership fee.
The Kingdom of Crystal Groves is proudly LGBTQ+ inclusive. Read our discrimination & harassment policy.
